Alex Alvarez is a main character on the Netflix Original Series One Day at a Time. He is portrayed by Marcel Ruiz.

Bio Edit

Alex Alvarez is the son of Penelope and Victor and the youngest of their two children. He values popularity, his appearance, and looking cool. This makes him easily influenced by his friends, especially Finn. He has a teasing relationship with older sister Elena but proves to be a supportive and caring brother when it matters. He is very accepting of Elena being gay. He even yelled at his dad, Victor, for not accepting his daughter's sexual preference.

Physical Appearance Edit

Alex has pale brown skin, dark brown eyes, and brown hair. His hair is mostly shown to be brushed to the side and his sense of style features a casual vibe.

Personality Edit

Alex is pretty laid back and can easily be pulled into peer pressure, but sometimes tries not to.

Trivia Edit

  • He speaks two languages, English and Spanish. He is being taught Yiddish by Leslie Berkowitz. Making him bilingual, after learning Yiddish he will be a polyglot.
  • He is the youngest of all the characters.
